Here is a description of the internal employment procedures used by the Uvalde CISD. Each campus or Central Office administrator has appropriate access to online employment applications. They will review the applications that are relevant to their open positions. Based upon their review, they will choose which applicants they want to interview. The administrator will contact you if you are chosen. Not all applicants will be interviewed. The administrator will then recommend their choice to the Director of Personnel. If the Director of Personnel accepts the recommendation, then he will in turn recommend employment of the applicant to the Board of Trustees at their next scheduled meeting. Until approved by the Board of Trustees, the applicant has no legal or contractual right to employment with the Uvalde CISD. Final employment for a teacher is contingent upon the teacher meeting the requirements of the Texas Education Agency. Final employment of all candidates is contingent upon a successful criminal history clearance and finger printing.
