UCISD Instructional Materials: Public Review

Uvalde CISD is in the process of adopting new resources for the 2024-2025 school year and would like your input!  

Instructional Materials Proclamation 2024 brings resources for Science (K-12), Career & Technical Science (9-12),  Personal Financial Literacy & Economics (9-12), and Technology Applications (K-8). Uvalde CISD is committed to providing quality curriculum resources, professional learning, services, and instructional materials that significantly improves student achievement. The process for the selection of instructional materials provides an opportunity to make informed decisions in the selection of quality, state curriculum aligned instructional materials. Throughout this process, Uvalde CISD, in collaboration with Instructional Coaches, teachers, publishers, and community stakeholders (that’s YOU!) will have the opportunity to review and give feedback on digital sample materials provided by the Texas Education Agency for all potential resources.

In order to be part of our review process, you must be a resident of Uvalde County and/or a Parent/Guardian of a UCISD student.  The review will be conducted January 15-25, 2024, and your feedback will be taken to the Instructional Materials Adoption Committee in February.
