Mr. Antonio A. Villarreal

Professional Bio

My name is Antonio A. Villarreal and this year I am beginning my 21st year as a teacher and my 15th year with Uvalde C.I.S.D. I am a 1992 Graduate of Crystal City High School, I received my Associate of Arts from Southwest Texas Junior College and my Bachelors of Arts in History with a minor in English from Sul Ross State University:Rio Grande College.

This year I am starting my second year as a Dual Language Teacher, Early College Instructor, Honors Student Instructor and my first year as an Advanced Placement Instructor.

As an educator, I have been a Mariachi Director (10 years), a Football Coach, an Assistant with our Uvalde High School Coyote Marching Band, Class Sponsor, Senior Class Sponsor and Student Council Sponsor.

I believe every child has the opportunity to learn and to make a difference in this world. The only limits we have is the limits we place on ourselves.

Personal Bio

I am married to a wonderful & amazing woman who is also an educator, Maria O. Villarreal. We both have a combined experience of over 45 years in education.

In my spare time I enjoy playing guitar, online gaming, cooking outdoors and listening to multiple genres of music.
