Communications & Marketing

The Uvalde CISD Communications and Marketing department serves the students, staff, administration and the community. The department oversees district communications via the district website, social media and the district mobile app. We provide communication, public relations, marketing, district-level event planning, all media inquiries, website and social media management and parent-school notifications.

MEDIA GUIDELINES

Media Interviews

All media inquiries, including interview requests for UCISD staff or students, must be directed to the Chief of Communications & Human Capital. No media members will be allowed to enter an UCISD campus or facility without prior approval from the Chief of Communications & Human Capital.

Media Footage

Media are free to shoot video of campuses without prior approval from the Communications office as long as they are positioned off UCISD property (across the street and not impeding traffic flow).

Private and Commercial Photography

Private commercial photography and videography is not allowed at any UCISD event without prior approval. Parents and families are welcome to take photos or videos with personal devices, including phones or small cameras, that do not obstruct the view of other guests.
