Attention Media Partners

  • Uvalde CISD will host Graduation for the Class of 2022 on Friday, June 24 at 7 p.m. at Honey Bowl Stadium. 

    For visiting media unfamiliar with Uvalde CISD’s annual graduation procedures, please see the notes below:

    • The graduation ceremony is a private event with attendance limited to family and friends of the graduating class.

    • There will be no media access to Honey Bowl Stadium for the graduation ceremony.

    • The graduation ceremony will be broadcast live on KVOU Radio Station 104.9 with a Livestream available on the Uvalde CISD website.

    As a district, we understand that grief is different for everyone and we are focused on providing care and support for all of our students, families, and staff as they take the time to process and begin to heal. Participation in the graduation ceremony is optional to allow students and staff to make the individual decisions that are best for them during this difficult time.

    We appreciate your cooperation in helping us allow our students, staff, and families the space to honor the achievements of the Class of 2022.
