The Employee of the Month for March is awarded to Manuel Ayala, Robb Elementary Assistant Campus Administrator. Mr. Ayala has served the students of our district since 2014. He continued his teaching career at Uvalde High School as a Spanish Teacher and coach. He has served as a coach for Football, Weightlifting, Track, Swim, and Basketball. A coach not only serves as a mentor and guide to the students, however many times coaches acquire a CDL Drivers License to be able to transport the team.

Mr. Ayala now serves the students of our district at Robb Elementary as an Assistant Campus Administrator. As a campus administrator, Mr. Ayala can be found interacting with students in classrooms, at school dances, overseeing activities in the courtyard and much more. Mr. Ayala is an extremely active individual on and off the campus.

One of the many tools Mr. Ayala has in his toolbox is his CDL Drivers License, which was put to use on Friday, March 2nd when our Transportation Department was in need of an additional bus driver. When Mr. Ayala received the call to action he immediately responded with the support of his campus principal, Mrs. Becky Reinhardt. It was a true surprise to the students at Robb Elementary to see Mr. Ayala behind the wheel of a school bus as he opened the door to welcome students onto the bus.

Mr. Ayala’s actions to serve the students of our district in any way necessary is very much appreciated. Mr. Ayala shares, “We come together as district employees to help each other out when one person or department is in a pinch. I strongly believe we are a team and we must do what we are able to help the "team" succeed.  It was such a great way to end my day and set me into my weekend seeing all of our students smile and say thank you as they entered and exited the bus.” Please help me congratulate Manuel Ayala as our Employee of the Month!
