Ms. Sinclair has been a part of the Morales Junior High team for the past two years with five years of service to Uvalde CISD. This year she has taken on the leadership role of department head for Special Education, a critical role for the campus, as she works with all staff members to ensure that our Special Education students’ needs are met. She is always willing to assist staff members, offering her time, assistance and knowledge. Ms. Sinclair is also an advocate for all students on campus with her primary focus on ensuring that our special needs students are successful academically in the classroom, as well as outside the classroom. She connects with students in such a genuine manner, encouraging them, listening to them and sharing her own life experiences. She has a unique way of showing students that she cares and understands them. Mrs. Rodriguez shares, “We are blessed to have Ms. Sinclair on our team and excited for her recognition. Her compassion and dedication to students and her colleagues is evident in all that she does everyday. Our students, parents, campus and community are fortunate to have her with UCISD.” We wish her many years of success in education.
