The Cecil Atkission Automotive Group is a wonderful supporter of the UHS Band students who clearly support the importance of arts education. Tommy Atkinson, Vice President and General Manager presented Dr. Ball and Jason Jung with a resource so greatly needed to pull a 44-foot band trailer, a new truck with an intimidating presence. Mr. Atkission and Bryan Alderson, sales manager, are demonstrating the Cecil Atkission motto Making a difference runs in our blood. These wonderful gentlemen shared the vehicle that pulls the UHS Band trailer needed to stand out and make a statement as our students visited different school districts to perform and compete. The vehicle wrap is unique and announces the Uvalde Coyote Marching Band with Coyote Pride! The vehicle also sports Loyal and True and Fear the Yotes on the front for all to see. Another great surprise was shared by Tommy Atkission, the band trailer will also have a similar intimidating wrap to match the truck. The Cecil Atkission dealership is an outstanding partner to Uvalde C.I.S.D. and continues to live by family values and small-town friendliness.
