AP Testing Schedule

Home-Schooled Students Are Invited to Participate in

Scheduled AP Testing at Uvalde High School

Students/parents should contact Mr. Owens, the AP Coordinator at Uvalde High School, no later than March 10 so they can be registered for the appropriate AP exam. Please call 830-591-2950 to reach Mr. Owens. A schedule of tests given at Uvalde High School is attached to this notice. Prior to calling, students should be prepared to list the exams they plan to take, to give their full legal name, mailing address, and phone number, and to provide their payment for the exam(s) ordered. Home-schooled students will pay the same price for the exams as UHS students. Payment is due at the time of registration for each exam. The price for each exam offered this year at UHS is $25. Should a test not currently offered at UHS be requested, the full price for that exam would be $56 and would be required. While we will make every attempt to schedule that exam, UCISD reserves the right to deny requests to take AP exams not currently offered by the high school campus due to lack of facilities/personnel.

Students will need to bring a picture ID and their school testing code, ensuring that their exam score(s) will be reported properly to their own school and not to the school at which they test. Students should also bring the appropriate calculator (approved for math and some science exams only), pencils, a blue/black ink pen, an eraser, and their social security number if they plan to provide it to the College Board (optional). Students should also bring a sweater or jacket. Students MUST stay for the entire test. They may not leave the test early. They CANNOT bring: cell phones or other electronic devices; food; drink; study materials or books.
